Welcome to MVSA Softball
MVSA Softball proudly congratulates David Jacobs on his induction into the Washington Metro Softball Hall of Fame this fall, one of only two coaches to be so honored. While David played fastpitch at the highest level this honor is mostly based on what David has selflessly given to the Montgomery County area & MVSA Softball. David has joined Jim Kibbe in the WMSHoF; to see their bios please link to the About Our Coaches page.

MVSA 2011/2012 SOFTBALL PITCHER/CATCHER CLINICS are FULL               See Camps and Clinics tab for information.

WELCOME TO MVSA SOFTBALL!!!

On behalf of the board members, coaches, parents and players of MVSA Softball, we would like to thank you for your interest in our organization! It is our purpose and goal to provide an educational environment for the development of young players based on hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship that exemplifies individual leadership, teamwork, integrity, and character within the framework of competitive youth fastpitch softball.

MVSA Softball is proud to offer all levels of play (including recreational, in-house, and select fastpitch softball programs) for players aged 7-18.  In-house (Inferno) and recreational (fall and spring) teams play against each other and teams from other softball programs geographically close to MVSA.  Select (Storm) teams play in local tournaments as well as tournaments requiring travel to Virginia, Pennsylvania,  and other areas along the East Coast.  Storm participates in the most competitive tournaments sponsored by the ASA, USSSA, and Pony Softball.

MVSA Softball is preparing for an exciting and fun season. We look forward to working with each player and parent throughout this exciting time, and hope to continue to build our tradition of excellence and sportsmanship. Our greatest reward, as an organization and as coaches, is to witness the growth of young athletes into successful young adults.

MVSA Softball is a non-profit organization.
Our coaches do not receive compensation and all fees directly benefit our players.

                                                                               - Ralph Lennon, MVSA Softball Commisioner
